The organisers of the Breadcraft Wild Challenge and Wild Challenge Kids Run are putting together the final details for this Pukaha fundraising event and are calling for those people who may still be thinking about entering to get their entries in by Friday.
Racebags and goodie bags are being collated and while organisers are happy for kids to turn up on the day to register for the Kids Run, they need to be aware that if they haven't pre-registered, their goodie bags won't contain a T-shirt - although one will be sent out to them after raceday.
Spot prizes for both events include the major prize of the name and help release a kiwi chick, a large box of Whittakers Sante bar chocolate, an annual family membership to Pukaha Mount Bruce and a sports bag from Higgins containing vouchers for the Farriers Bar and the Cafe Solway Golf Driving Range.
The Breadcraft Wild Challenge commences at 9am (with a compulsory race briefing at 8.45am) and the Kids Run at 10am (race briefing at 9.30am)
The first racers in the Breadcraft Wild Challenge are due in around 11.30 with the final competitors in around 12.30. Prize giving will be held immediately after the final competitor arrives.
